The Elan account is my Livret Jeune Elan where I can save
up to € 1 600. My money earns interest with no risk or
tax and is always available.
Eligibility: from the 12th to the 25th birthday (a single
Livret Jeune per person resident in France).
Formalities: I may open the account on my own. If I am under
16, I need my parents' permission to make cash withdrawals.
Deposit: minimum € 15, maximum € 1 600.
Availability: total and immediate in all branches of Banque
Dupuy, de Parseval.
12-17 year olds
Linked to my Livret Jeune Elan is my Elan
Cash Card which I can use 24 hours a day, 7 days
a week to make withdrawals of up to FRF 200 per 7 consecutive
days from any international Carte Bleue cash dispenser and
obtain medical assistance in a foreign country.
18-25 year olds
Ideal for withdrawals up to FRF 500 per 7 consecutive days
from Carte Bleue cash dispensers in France, my Elan National
Bank Card also enables me to pay for purchases of up to FRF
2000 per 30 consecutive days.
The Elan Account allows me cost-free overdraft facilities
of €150.
If I intend to take a trip abroad, I should obtain information
on the Visa Card.
Keeping track
The Elan Account supplies me free of charge
with statements and a subscription to BDP Phone so I just
need to give a call to keep track of my account (call cost
is FRF 2.23 per minute).If my means of payment are lost or
stolen, I am covered by the Elan Valeurs Security
Cover.

18-25: Account for just 2,56 €/month.
